Magdalena Kostoska is born on Oct 6 1982 in Gostivar, Republic of Macedonia. She graduated from Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Informatics in Skopje at 30.10.2006, with the following thesis “Web application for on-line project planning”, under the mentorship of Prof. Marjan Gusev. She received an MSc degree from Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Institute of Informatics in Skopje at 07.04.2010, with the thesis „е-Treasury – Treasury Information System” under the mentorship of Prof. Marjan Gusev.

During the studies she was awarded every year for excellent score at the courses. From 2005 till 2007 she work a junior part-time employee at the Institute of Informatics and at the same time from 2006 till 2007 She worked in the company Ultra in Skopje, fist as a programmer, later as a business analyst. At the company she has worked at the following projects: Banking Information System, Treasury Information System, Insurance Information System and Billing System.

Since December 2007 she works as a junior teaching and research assistant at the Institute of Informatics, and since October 2010 as teaching and research assistant. She was included in the following courses: Software Requirement Analysis, Software Construction, Software Design and Architecture, Data Structures, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Bases, Data Mining, Wireless and Mobile Technologies and Computer Architecture.
